Why do we need events like the BQFF?
Research has proven that people in rural communities, are more likely to suffer isolation, depression, self-harm and suicide. BQFF offers a space for rural lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex people, their families and friends, to connect with and support each other through common stories and lessen the feeling of isolation.
Are you, or is someone you know, in need of help?
Professional, confidential services are available. Be safe, take care and know that you are unique, special and loved for being true to your sense of self. You are never alone.
